PM Society > About the PM Society |
| The
Pharmaceutical Marketing Society was founded in 1976. Initially
styled the PM Club when its primary focus was a social one, the change
to the PM Society in the mid-1980s brought with it a new philosophy
and concentration on meeting the professional needs of its members. PM Society meetings are arranged to provide information, education and training for both pharmaceutical marketing and service personnel. The annual advertising awards and a summer function also provide networking opportunities in a social context. The Society is non-profit making and run for the benefit of its members by a hard working volunteer committee. This enables events to be organised which offer the greatest value for money in the industry. Membership of the Society makes it your Society. It will only exist if members continue to have a say in the way it is run and attend the events designed to meet your professional goals, which hopefully match those of your Society as listed on the Aims & Objectives page. |
