Your committee usually numbers about 25, from whom the offices of
Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Treasurer are elected usually every
two years. The Secretary is the only paid employee of the Society
and fulfils all the administrative duties without which the Society
could not function. The committee meets approximately six times a
year to agree overall plans, after which sub-committees are appointed
to manage specific events.
All this time is given voluntarily. If you are interested in joining
the committee we would be pleased to hear from you. We would particularly
welcome pharmaceutical industry personnel to the committee.
