PM Golf Society - Hankley Common

As usual we start our golfing year at the magnificent Hankley Common Golf Club. Hankley announced this year that Regional Qualifying for the Open Championship will return to the club in 2011. It was recently voted number 64 in Golf Monthly Top 100 courses and 74 in Golf World Magazine Top 100. The excellence of the course is more than matched by superb catering on the day.

We will be playing a Stableford Singles competition in the morning with the first tee reserved for us from 8.30 am. In the afternoon, there will be an 18 hole Greensomes competition. The cost of the day for each player will be £112 + VAT (a total of £131.60). The slight increase in price for this year results from VAT being increased to 17.5%. The price includes morning coffee and bacon rolls, soup and ploughman’s lunch with a roast dinner to follow.

As a slight change to arrangements we are now looking to take payment and details electronically. It is hoped that this will speed up the booking process and help to keep costs down.
