Joshua Cornelius died in 1998 at the age of 7 after a two year battle against cancer. In 1998, Sarah Cornelius, Joshua's mother, set up The Joshua Foundation charity to raise money to provide experiences and holidays for children with terminal cancer and their families, in order to make a real difference to their lives.
Fundraising will begin at the PM Society 2006 Pharmaceutical Advertising Awards where proceeds from the annual Prize Draw, will be donated to The Joshua Foundation.
Sarah Cornelius stated "We are delighted that the Pharmaceutical Marketing Society has chosen The Joshua Foundation as its charity for the next two years. This kind of partnership will go towards making life a real experience for even more families across the country who are facing the death of a child because of terminal cancer."
