The PM Society announces new PriMe Core module dates for 2009
The Pharmaceutical Marketing Society is delighted to announce the dates for its three day Core module ‘The Essentials of Pharmaceutical Marketing’ and its one day Core module ‘Pharmaceutical Marketing for Non-marketers’, which will once again take place in the tranquil surroundings of Beaumont House, Old Windsor.
The three day Core modules for 2009 are to be held from 11 – 13th March, 10th – 12th June and 7th – 9th October. This three day course is particularly suited to newly appointed or aspiring pharmaceutical marketers, or for those working in complementary departments.
‘The Essentials of Pharmaceutical Marketing’ course always proves popular with attendees with very positive feedback. One such delegate was Ali Sale, Product Manager at Cephalon Ltd, who commented, “The course gave me exactly what I needed for my first year in the job. The three days were structured around a realistic case study in manageable chunks and we learnt the theory, applying it to ‘our product’ in small groups. It was also a fantastic chance to network with product and account managers.”
Now a Core module for 2009 is the very popular one day ‘Pharmaceutical Marketing for Non-Marketers’ course being held on the 28th April and repeated on 20th October. This course is ideal for non-marketers such as those in the service sector, medical, regulatory, PR, sales and finance, who wish to develop a broader understanding of marketing principles and practice.
These programmes provide the core, practical skills needed to effectively implement Pharma marketing. Designed by industry experts and in conjunction with other Specialist one and half day modules, these courses can help to build a comprehensive introduction to pharmaceutical marketing.
Places on the Core modules tend to fill quickly so make sure you book as soon as possible. For further information on PriMe programmes, including upcoming events and costs, please visit: prime.pmsociety.org.uk or contact Vivien Bennett on 01403 264898 or prime@pmsociety.org.uk.
