The PM Society launches 2009 dates for PriMe Specialist modules
The PriMe dates for the Spring and Autumn Specialist modules are now being promoted by The Pharmaceutical Marketing Society. Once again taking place in the beautiful surroundings of Beaumont House in Old Windsor, the Specialist modules have been designed to complement the Core modules, although they can be taken individually, and to provide more detailed training in specific marketing skills.
The Specialist modules can help to create a better understanding of specific topics affecting the role of the marketer and have particular value to those who regularly interact with operational marketing in areas such as medical, finance, regulatory personnel, project managers and other agency staff.
A recent attendee of the NHS Organisation and Structure and Its Implications one day course was Vanessa Newman, Account Director at Pharmedicare, who found the module very useful. She commented, “The course offered a comprehensive overview of the history of the NHS, particularly focussing on the last 20 years. It looked at how the organisation has evolved politically, financially and structurally and how this has affected primary and secondary care. My understanding of the changing NHS and the corresponding reactions of the healthcare industry will now certainly enrich my marketing skills.”
Dates and topics for Specialist modules for the Spring and Autumn are as follows:
| Understanding the Competition | ½ day (am) | 6 May & 22 October |
| Effective Sales Forecasting | 1 day | 30 April & 19 October |
| Understanding & Working with the NHS | 1 day | 29 April & 21 October |
| Market Research Essentials | 1 day | 7 May & 23 October |
| Financial Management in Marketing | 1 day | 8 May & 16 October |
