PM Society launches brand new PriMe Advanced Modules

The Pharmaceutical Marketing Society is delighted to announce the introduction of a series of PriMe Advanced Modules, particularly aimed at experienced marketers who are seeking to develop their expertise in specific areas of marketing.

As part of the on-going development of the PriMe Programme, the PM Society consulted with its members, the industry and its dedicated Advisory Board, to identify the evolving training needs of pharmaceutical marketers. Following this consultation and feedback from delegates attending the successful PriMe Core and Specialist Modules, it was apparent that marketers wanted to expand and develop their knowledge and skills in a number of specific areas. This would enable them to have a real impact on their day-to-day roles and help to provide them with some key elements in their own personnel development.

To meet this need, in partnership with red kite consulting, the PriMe Programme has been extended with the addition of a new series of Advanced Modules. These Modules will be interactive, combining plenary sessions with workshops, case studies and lectures by key industry speakers. Taking place in at Beaumont House in Old Windsor, there are five one or two-day Modules to choose from:

Portfolio Management 1 day 1 June 2009
Strategy Masterclass 1 day 2 June 2009
Global & Local Brand Optimisation 1 day 3 June 2009
European Marketing Management 2 days 4 June 2009
Market Mapping & Segmentation 1 day 8 June 2009

Steve Mackenzie-Lawrie, Joint Lead of the PM Society PriMe committee, commented: “I’m a strong advocate of the importance of effective and on-going training for all marketers. The PM Society has designed the PriMe programme to allow those engaged in Pharma marketing to develop their knowledge and skills to attain excellence in their field and to meet the ever-changing demands of the healthcare market. These Advanced Modules give marketers an insight into how to successfully achieve this.”
