Survey reveals high ratings for PM Society
A recent independent survey on professional memberships within the Pharma industry has shown that the PM Society Advertising Awards continue to be the healthcare industry’s most popular awards ceremony.
Of the 239 respondents from those Pharma and service agency companies who took part, the PM Society Advertising Awards came out above all other Pharma industry awards in all questions asked.
The PM Awards were considered to be:
- The must-attend industry event of the year
- The awards that deliver the most value to their organization
- The event with the highest industry attendance
- The event with the highest industry awareness
Awards Chairman Neil Smith was thrilled with the results commenting: “The findings from this independent survey go to prove the importance of the PM Society Advertising Awards to the industry, reinforcing our belief that it is the most high profile social event in the Pharma calendar.”
Of those who attend industry social events, all PM Society activities were seen as the ones respondents were most likely to attend, with the PM Society coming in second only to the ABPI for those looking to attend workshops, training courses and conferences/lectures.
The survey also showed that 97% of respondents had high awareness of the PM Society, plus it concluded it had the highest personal membership and the second highest company membership after the ABPI.
The main benefit of the Society, both personally and for organizations, was seen to be it’s great networking opportunities.
