New Chairman & Vice-Chairman for PM Society
The PM Society is delighted to announce two new appointments to their Executive Committee. Sandy Royden has been elected as Chairman of the Society and Dr Beverly Barr as Vice-Chairman, joining fellow Vice-Chairman Rachel Farrow and Treasurer Chris Doyle who were re-elected to their positions.
Sandy Royden has been an active member of the PM Society Committee for the last 10 years. Sandy joined the Executive Committee following her election as Vice-Chairman of the Society for 4 years from 2001 – 2005. She then spent 3 years as Chairman leading the introduction of the ABPI workshops, establishing further administrative support for the Society to allow them to take on additional initiatives and establishing PriMe as a comprehensive training programme. Since then she has remained an active Executive Committee member, as joint lead on PriMe with Steve Mackenzie-Lawrie. Sandy now takes over as Chairman from Steve Clark.
Sandy has over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry covering clinical research and development, marketing and sales and prior to the recent birth of her son Oliver, was CEO, Europe at Huntsworth Health.
Dr Beverly Barr, is Practice Head of Communications at Pope Woodhead and replaces Matt Coleman as one of the Society's two Vice-Chairman. She has been a member of the PM Society Committee since September 2007 and has been closely involved in working with the education sub committee providing valuable input into programme of educational meetings.
