PriMe is a marketing training programme tailored to the pharmaceutical industry.
Developed BY the industry FOR the industry with a Steering Committee of senior industry personnel, it was launched by the PM Society in 2005 to address the specific needs of pharmaceutical marketers.
Thanks to its modular approach, PriMe offers flexible training options based on delegate needs, whether for a basic grounding in the principles and practices of marketing or the need for more specialist, strategic or leadership skills.
The PriMe programme consists of a number of marketing and leadership modules that are revised and updated on an ongoing basis to keep pace with the ever changing environment.
PriMe training courses, delivered with our partner, red kite consulting group, are designed to be interactive and engaging. Through a combination of plenary sessions, interactive workshops and hands-on application in a Case Study environment, we ensure that learning can be applied immediately to your role.
The PriMe Programme offers flexible training using a modular approach designed to meet the needs of a wide range of delegates. Depending on their level of experience or desire to specialise in particular subject areas, delegates can choose the PriMe Modules that suit them best. PriMe offers a number of Core, Specialist, Advanced and Leadership modules to address these specific needs.

There are two types of Core Modules designed to provide a grounding in the principles and practices of marketing for delegates about to begin or already working in marketing (“Essentials of Pharmaceutical Marketing”) or individuals working in associated roles (“Pharmaceutical Marketing for Non Marketers”).
Designed for:
Essentials of Pharmaceutical Marketing: Newly appointed or aspiring marketers within both the manufacturing and agency /service sectors of the pharmaceutical industry
Pharmaceutical Marketing for non-Marketers: Delegates from the service sector, medical/regulatory personnel, finance, sales, medical affairs, individuals who interact with the operational marketing team.

These half-day or one-day modules have been developed to complement the Core Modules and aim to provide more in-depth training in specific skills pivotal to the marketing role. Please note that attendance of the Core Modules is not a pre-requisite to take part in the Specialist Modules.
