Clay Pigeon Shoot

This fun event took place at Waller Ash Gun Club, Near Basingstoke, on Thursday 21st April. About 30 shooters (or would be shooters) managed to skirt the bridle-way potholes to be welcomed with bacon rolls and coffee in order to sustain them through four hours of practice and competition.

The instruction, particularly for the novices was first class and was presented with great humour and understanding. Everyone hit at least some clays on stands which were not always that easy.

Top Gun on the day was Simon Noble-Clarke   Ladies champion was Kate Matthews of RFA Advertising

Overall runner-up went to Daniel Hughes of Pliva   Organiser Phil Bowden presents the final prize to our secretary, Vivien Bennett who was made a member of "The Clay Pigeon Preservation Society"!!

Over a late lunch it was agreed that the day had been a great success and looks set to become an annual PM Society event.
