Marketers in the life sciences industries are increasingly called on to lead a complex team matrix system defining brand strategy and commercialisation from the early stages of research and development. It is an evolving role which demands a far broader skillset than traditional marketing.
Incorporating PriMe, the Personal Career Development Interest Group has been set up to examine how the interlinking training needs of marketers and their peers can be met, including the training needs of personnel in the brand team across R&D, market research, business intelligence, market access, medical affairs and regulatory affairs. Membership of the Interest Group will be drawn from industry personnel working across the brand team, alongside service companies and agencies working within the pharmaceutical and healthcare market.
The Group’s work will build on PriMe, the PM Society’s flexible modular training programme. Membership of the PM Society Personal Career Development Interest Group is open to anyone working in the pharma and life sciences sector.
