PM Society Digital Media Awards 2013 - Winners!

The winners of the fifth PM Society Digital Media Awards were announced in London on September 26. Hosted by comedian Dara O Briain, the Digital Media Awards remain the only dedicated recognition for digital solutions in the healthcare and life sciences arena.

Independent communications agency Ruder Finn and creative marketing agency Digitas Health each took home three winning trophies. HAVAS LYNX and Radical Departures were close behind, each scooping two wins and Atlantis Healthcare, Aurora, DDB Remedy, Doctors.net, Message Dynamics, Story Worldwide and Swordfish/Incuna were also celebrating as they each picked up an Award. Langland, winners of seven Awards in the PM Society Advertising Awards 2012, picked up their first ever Digital Media Award in the Film and animation category for ‘I did this with Idis’.

The Digital Project/ Account Management Award went to Aurora’s Gill Dunn, who was praised by the judges for her “excellent blend of technical, social and team working skills across many diverse projects”. The were particularly impressed by the amount of support from clients for her nomination, all of which emphasised her role in their success.

The prestigious Digital Pioneer Award 2013, awarded to someone who has made a real difference in the world of digital in pharma, was won by GSK’s Kai Gait. Kai’s achievements range through integrated marketing campaigns that deliver real value and return on investment, to pioneering clinician communities, social media engagement and change management.
